Papuma Beach
Jember, East Java

- Duration
- 1 to 2 days
- Difficulty
- Easy
- From
- IDR 275K
- Departure

Papuma is a rocky beach at Jember's southern tip that often appears as a film location. Its reefs form an arm that hugs the white sand, and the pine forest behind it gives an afternoon shade most beaches do not have.
Our trip usually arrives for sunrise, walks to the western side at low tide, then has a grilled fish lunch before heading back or continuing to other Jember spots. It pairs well with Tumpak Sewu in a 2 day route.
Highlights
- Rock formations on both sides of the bay
- The dense landep pine forest
- Sunrise from the eastern hill
- Grilled fish at beachside stalls
Includes
- AC transport from Malang or Jember
- Beach entrance tickets
- Local guide
- Grilled fish lunch
- Mineral water and snacks
Difficulty: Easy. May to September.
